வரதட்சணை வழக்கில் பெண் போலிஸ் இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் அடித்த லூட்டி!!

இந்தியாவில் திருமணம் செய்யும் இளைஞர்கள்  பொய் வரதட்சணை வழக்கில் சிக்கி சிறைக்குச் சென்று அவர்களது குடும்பம் நாசமாக வேண்டும்  என்பது எழுதப்படாத இந்திய  சட்டம்  என்று அனைவருக்கும் தெரியும்.   பொய் வரதட்சணை வழக்கில் சிக்கி வேதனைப்படும் குடும்பங்களில் பிணந்திண்ணி கழுகு போலமுடிந்தவரை பிடுங்கித்தின்று பல காவல்- மற்றும் சட்டக்-குடும்பங்கள் உயிர் வாழ்ந்துகொண்டிருக்கின்றன என்பதும் அவரவர் மனசாட்சிக்கு நன்றாகவே தெரியும்.

பிணத்தை உண்டு வாழும் கழுகிற்கும், ஓநாய்களுக்கும் அது திண்ணும் பிணம் நல்லவனின் உடலா அல்லது கெட்டவனின் உடலா என்று தெரியுமா? அல்லது அது என்றாவது அது பற்றி யோசித்திருக்குமா?   எது கிடைத்தாலும் திண்ணும்.  அதுபோலத்தான் வரதட்சணை வழக்கு என்றால் அது உண்மையான வழக்கா அல்லது பொய் வழக்கா என்று சற்றும் கவலைப் படாமல் புகார் கொடுத்தவர், குற்றம் சாட்டப்பட்டவர் என இரு தரப்பிலும் பணத்தை பிடுங்கலாம் என்று வட்டமடித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றன காவலும் நீதியும்.

இந்தியாவில் பொய் வரதட்சணை வழக்குகள் சமுதாயத்தை சீர் குலைத்து, ஊழலுக்கு வழி வகுத்து, மனித உரிமை மீறல்களை செய்யும் கருவியாக்கப்பட்டு காவல் மற்றும் நீதித்துறைகளை அப்பாவிகளை துன்புறுத்தி பணம் பிடுங்கும் பிணந்திண்ணிகளாகவே மாற்றிவிட்டன என்று அறிந்துகொள்ள  டில்லி நீதிமன்ற தீர்ப்பினையும் இன்றைய செய்தித்தாளில் வந்துள்ள செய்தியையும் ஒப்பிட்டால் தெள்ளத் தெளிவாக தெரியும்.

Lastly, I am compelled to observe that Section 498A IPC in the recent years has become consummate embodiment of gross human rights violation, extortion and corruption and even the Apex Court of our country had acknowledged this abuse and termed it as Legal Terrorism. The provisions of Section 498 A IPC are not a law to take revenge, seek recovery of dowry or to force a divorce but a penal provision to punish the wrong doers. The victims are often misguided into exaggerating the facts by adding those persons as accused who are un-connected with the harassment under a mistaken belief that by doing so they are making a strong case. Courts cannot be a party to any kind of exploitative situation and it is necessary for every complainant to remember that it is only an honest complaint which succeeds in law where contents are supported by facts on the ground and persons, who are not connected with the harassment, should never be arrayed as accused. The platform of the courts cannot be permitted to be used to wreck personal vendetta or unleash harassment and the tendency of the complainants to come out with inflated and exaggerated allegations by roping in each and every relation of the husband is required to be deprecated. The obligation of the court is to ensure that innocent persons are not put to harassment and to curtail the frivolous allegations at the earliest stage by looking for due corroboration from the facts. I may further add that in any matrimonial dispute, it is the primary duty of every court to ensure that for any fault of the husband, his other relatives including married sisters and brothers who may be living jointly or separately and the aged parents are not involved either out of vengeance or to curl out appropriate settlement.

வரதட்சணை வழக்கில் பாஸ்போர்ட் பிரச்னையை தீர்க்க லஞ்சம் : புரோக்கருடன் பெண் போலீஸ் இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் கைது

திருச்சி: பாஸ்போர்ட் பிரச்னையை தீர்த்து வைப்பதாக, லஞ்சம் வாங்கிய, பெண் போலீஸ் இன்ஸ்பெக்டரை, லஞ்ச ஒழிப்பு போலீசார் கைது செய்துள்ளனர். திருச்சி, திருவானைக்காவல், மாம்பழச்சாலையை சேர்ந்த வெங்கடேஷ் மீது, அவரது மனைவி, வரதட்சணை கேட்பதாக புகார் கொடுத்திருந்தார்.

இந்த புகாரில், அவரது உறவினர் ஜீவநாயகம் என்பவரின் பெயரும் சேர்க்கப்பட்டிருந்தது. அதனால், அவரது பாஸ்போர்ட்டை, திருவெறும்பூர் மகளிர் போலீசார், முடக்கி வைத்திருந்தனர்.

மலேசியாவில், வேலைக்கு செல்லவிருந்த ஜீவநாயகத்துக்கு, இதனால் சிக்கல் ஏற்பட்டது. பாஸ்போர்ட் பிரச்னையை, தீர்க்க, புரோக்கர் கிறிஸ்டோபர் என்பவர் மூலம், மகளிர் போலீஸ் இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் கார்த்திகாயினியிடம் பேச்சு நடந்தது.  இதற்கு, 35 ஆயிரம் ரூபாய், லஞ்சம் தர வேண்டும் என, கார்த்திகாயினி கேட்டுள்ளார். இறுதியாக, 10 ஆயிரம் ரூபாய் கொடுப்பது என, பேரத்தில் முடிவானது.

ஆனால், பணம் கொடுக்க விரும்பாததால், இது குறித்து, திருச்சி லஞ்ச ஒழிப்பு போலீசில், புகார் செய்யப்பட்டது. போலீஸ் ஆலோசனைப்படி, நேற்று பிற்பகலில், பெண் போலீசாரிடம் பணம் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. அப்போது, கார்த்திகாயினி, 38, புரோக்கர் கிறிஸ்டேபார், 55, ஆகியோரை, லஞ்ச ஒழிப்பு போலீசார், கையும் களவுமாக கைது செய்தனர். திருச்சி மன்னார்புரம் அரசு குடியிருப்புப்பில் உள்ள, கார்த்திகாயினி வீட்டில், சோதனை நடத்தினர். பின்னர், திருச்சி சிறையில் அடைக்கப்பட்டனர்.

கார்த்திகாயினியின் கணவர் கார்த்திகேயன், சேலம், அரசு மருத்துவமனை டீனாக உள்ளார்.
